Mounting your Dyer's saddlebags with leather bag supports is the least expensive way to mount your new saddlebags and works really well. The washers and rubber clamps and rivets are supplied with the saddlebags.
First mount the bag support to your rear fender rail, on your  bike. You may have to buy longer bolts if you have a back rest, or the original bolts are to short.
Once you have bolted the bag support  down tight, push in on the bag support until it looks straight up and down, because this is the angle  the saddlebag will be in when you have it mounted. Once you have the angle right, have a friend hold your saddlebag up to the bag support while you adjust the location of the saddlebag. Move it forward or backward, up or down, until it is in the desired location. Once you have it like you want it, mark the saddlebag (out side of bracket) with masking tape.
With the saddlebag laying on a work table, lay your bracket back inside the masking tape, where you have it marked, and then using the bag support,  mark your holes to be drilled.
Once your holes are marked, you're ready to drill holes  for mounting. Predrill holes with a small bit, then use the correct size bit to drill holes .
With the upper holes drilled, now push your bolts through the bracket. Place the rubber clamps around the bracket, and position them so they will be spaced out evenly. Mark the holes and drill. As you can see in the picture all the holes are aligned.  Rivet the rubber clamps to the bag, and you're ready to mount the bag to the bike.
Now using the flat washers on the inside and outside of the saddlebag, mount  your saddlebag to your bike.
Now you have installed your new "DYER'S SADDLEBAGS". So you're ready for the road, and for all the questions -WHERE DID YOU GET  THOSE SADDLEBAGS- As always   RIDE SAFE.
Leather bag supports will have to be purchased from a dealer of your choice.
